individual Therapy
Amy uses her training in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) to create a warm, authentic, compassionate relationship with clients. It is the belief of AEDP that similar to an open wound, the body is designed to heal itsself physcially and emotionally. Within the framework of this safe therapeutic relationship, together we can explore and soften the anxieties and defenses that block true emotional experiences, which often feel too overwhelming to face alone.Through these emotional experiences, we can unlock the innate potential for healing. Clients often express feelings of clarity, lightness, and increased self compassion after AEDP sessions.
